Dedication

This book is dedicated to the glory of God who called me, named me, anointed me and sent me, and to the memory of my late father, Pa John Oyeyemi Isarinade who saw so much rot in the body to the point of unbelief. I am grateful to God that you saw the truth working before you left.

To Sister Seyi Sanjo-Bankole, thank you for listening and obeying the Holy Spirit, even when you hadnt read the book. May you continually hear Him.

Finally, I thank God for the life of Pastor Akin Opayinka who wrote the Foreword and acted as editor of this book, for believing in me and the grace of God upon my life, even when there was no outward manifestation. You have always been and will remain by Gods grace, a source of encouragement on this journey. Thank you very much.

May this book draw us all closer to HIM who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. May it be a blessing to the body. Amen.

Foreword

What is man? This same question by Job was asked four times in the bible: In the book of Job 17: 7; King David asked the same question twice in Psalms 8:4 and Psalm 144:3; and then the Apostle Paul in Hebrews 2: 6.

What prompted this question? Job knew the Almightiness of God, the Creator, and he also knew the nothingness of man, the creature. He knew there was no basis for comparison. God was too high up and man was too low down for any comparison. David and Paul believed the same thing.

However, to the surprise of Job, God has a high regard and honor for man. This is very incomprehensible! Why would God exalt man? Why would He set His heart on him? Why would He visit him every morning and bless him every moment? God why?

The essence of creation was man. Man was the vision. Every other thing created was a provision. Man was created for relationship. Man was created to communicate; to have communion and to fellowship with God. Man was to be in relationship with God. This accounts for the honor that man has with God; an honor that the bible says even the angels do not have.

Therefore, for effective relationship, man was given the image and the likeness of God; man was created to be a god, but sin made man to lose this relationship. Sin replaced the image of God in man with the image of sin. To whom you yield yourself, the servant thereof you become-Romans 6:16.

Since the time of the fall of man, God has been creating an avenue for another relationship between Him and man. This is why Jesus Christ came; to bring man back into relationship with God- John 1:12. At the end of the earthly ministry of Jesus, He instituted the five-fold ministry gifts, whose responsibility Paul said, is to make man perfect by bringing man to the measure of the fullness of the stature of Christ- Ephesians 4:11-16.

Hence, Ministers of the Gospel are expected to bring man back into a personal relationship with God. The question now is, how much of the bringing back into a personal relationship with God is your Pastor doing? Miracles, signs and wonders are no substitute to this personal relationship; rather they are the benefits of the relationship-Mathew 6:33. The Ministers of the new Testament are not to stand in between man and God like the old Testament Priests, but are to stand back and point the attention of man unto his God, and to nourish the mans spirit into maturity, so as to bring back the image of the likeness of God into man, and help man back into relationship with God.

Unfortunately, many Ministers of today are dupes, who shortchange the believers. For personal reasons of gratification, they would rather keep the congregation far away from God, preferring to be the one to meet with God and bring His blessings, which man would have to pay for in cash and/ or in kind. This is not the purpose of God. Christians need to put up their spiritual antennas to discern the various spirits roaming about today as the Spirit of God. 1 John 4:1.

This is why I believe that every Christian must sharpen his or her discerning ability by reading this Gods revelation given to brother Kolawole. It is my prayer that this book will open the eyes of every reader to the truth, expose every altar that has been erected supposedly unto God, and bring into repentance every sincere Pastor who has missed it. Amen.

Akin Opayinka

Center for Biblical Literacy
Lagos, Nigeria.

There is no doubt that we are living in the end times. With this reality comes the consistent, but systematic fulfillment of the end time prophecies. Varying literatures are being birthed daily fictionalizing the rapture and the tribulation. Dramatic fictional stories of the anti-Christ and his mode of operation drawing foundations from the Scripture are fast becoming bestsellers. This is great, as long as believers dont see it as just entertainment, but a fictional dramatization of reality soon to come.

While the attention is focused on the rapture and the anti-Christ, very little focus is being given to the events that will precede the rapture, especially within the body of Christ in the world. The period of spiritual drudgery that Jesus warned about is dangerous to even the elect: the appearance of false prophets with false teachings, signs and wonders.
