God is the final dream of man. He is always stretching us to new and unfamiliar levels. The finale of mans dream is to awake in Gods likeness.

Going to a new level is normal and necessary after an invasion of God. We call this invasion revival. As we continue walking in this new level, we will discover that revival is really just a saturation of the truthGod Himself!

Ecclesiastes 3:4

Dear Friends,

Lets continue the revival or faith journey together.... O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy (Habakkuk 3:2).

If youve been with me long enough, you remember God telling me to confess my sins. Strangely, two years later He said, Thats enough. For me it had become a way of life. Im a slow learner, but when the cloud moves, I go with the cloud. The habit of confession can become just that: a habit. Then we concentrate more on what were doing wrong than what were doing right.

The devil always makes it easy to think about the wrong, but the scriptures tell us to fix our eyes on what is not seen. Often God does this work so naturally that you dont even know it happened. You just realize that the stuff you struggled with disappeared while you were looking unto Jesus.

The brazen serpent was once helpful to Israel, but later it became a stumbling block, so it had to be destroyed. In this world we will always have need of confession, but there are higher levels than allowing our specks to consume us.

The noon fast and prayer meeting was growing. People from around the area were coming. Revival was in the atmosphere. Word of the South Korean and Congo revivals was capturing the air waves. We began to sense a mysterious kinship with people we didnt even know. Heaven sent out birth pangs, and we were caught by a divine pregnancy.

A few years ago, Don was asked to speak in Dr. Paul Chos church in Seoul, Korea. He spoke in the sixth service. As we walked the streets of Seoul on Sunday morning before his time to speak, it seemed like the whole city was going to church someplace with Bibles under their arms. We learned that 25 % of the population was Christian at that time.

Pastor Cho invited us to go to Prayer Mountain, where people pray continuously. We were privileged to use his personal prayer cubbyhole (which was dug out of the mountain). It was awesome to hear prayer all over the mountaineven in sight of the line that separated communist North Korea and South Korea. Men with guns on each side faced each other day and night. We stepped into a huge meeting place with three thousand people upstairs and three thousand people downstairs praying on their knees. All this was a result of revival.

We thought revival would break out in Fairmount any time. Church leaders visited us and felt an urgency to seek the Lord. We fasted, mourned, called a solemn assembly, and sanctified the congregation.

One morning I was reminded of Joel 2:17: Let the ministers of the Lord weep between the porch and the altar. I clasped my hands and arms around the post in front of the pulpit and began to weep. Did God want a martyr? If so, I was willing to be a dead one or a living one. The spirit of weeping was beyond my control and I didnt even try to stop the well of tears.

I finally stood up in a spot that will always be holy ground for me. I saw the burning bush and the bush had entered me. However long I remained there, I cannot say. Time seemed to stand still. Akin to Pauls spirit, I wanted to know Christ in the power of His Resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering. I had no wordsonly tears.

An older ministers wife moved to my side (she was probably anxious for my mental state!) and said to me, Dear, lets sing a song. I had no song to sing. I understand better now the three groans in Romans 8:1) Creation groans, 2) We groan (for immortality), and 3) The Spirit groans (while interceding for us!). I believe the whole world groans for Someone or something yet to be revealed.

I saw in Scripture that the spirit of weeping was consistent with travail before a great deliverance:

l) 1 Samuel 1:8Hannahs grief to bear a man-child before the birth of Samuel, the prophet. Why weepest thou, Hannah, why is thy heart grieved?

2) Lamentations 1:2the love and sorrow of Jehovah through Jeremiah for His beloved Judah. She wept in the night and her tears were on her cheeks.

3) Joel 2:12Gods call to Israel to pray for the early and latter Rain. Turn to me with all your heart and with fasting and weeping...
