If youve read any of my other books, you know that I have this strange habit of quoting random books and movies and songs. I dont know why Im like that. I just am. I usually blame it on the voices in my headbut then people tell me thats even creepier.

Huh.

Well, anyhow, you didnt come here to listen to me blab about the woes of being crazy. Lets dive right into the meat of this chapter.

So, heres the thing:

Strange things are happening.

There are lots of strange goings on in your life, and in mine.

However, right now I want to focus on just one of these strange things.

As we discussed in the Introduction, everybody wants to improve their life. Everybody wants to be healthier or happier or hungrier. (Sorry, had to keep the alliteration going.)

And out of the billions and billions of people who want healthier, happier, hungrier lives, only a small percentage actually attempt to do anything about it. Only a small minority of people will ever purchase a personal development book or hire a personal coach or even set a goal.

Why?

Because most people are lazy bums.

Which is really kind of funny, because the reason theyre not as happy or healthy or hungry as they could be is because theyre lazy. The lazier they are, the further they get away from their goal.

But that doesnt really matter.

Right now were not going to worry about the countless lazy bums that plague our beautiful world. Were not even going to admit their existence. Right now, were going to talk about you .

You see, youre not a lazy bum.
