Overview: Don`t kill the messenger! Probably you`ve heard that saying some time in your life. The truth is that, it applies in several aspects of your life and that includes stress management. Stress symptoms (such as headaches, tight shoulders, back pain, negative thoughts, anxiety and auto-sabotage) are merely symptoms (messengers) and the most effective way to deal with them is by understanding WHY you are feeling what you`re feeling.

Introduction

Stress is the buzz word ofmodern life. Whenever you bump up against circumstances or other people, youbecome stressed.

Are you feeling thephysical symptoms of stress, such as headaches, stomach problems, tight shoulders, back pain, bad eating habits, accelerated breathing, constant tiredness or notsleeping well?

What about low immunity, anothercommon consequence of stress? You get sick easier, catch a cold or the flufrequently, are vulnerable to bacterial infections and other diseases, and takelonger to recover when you get sick.

Are you suffering from theemotional symptoms of stress, like being negative and touchy with your familyand friends, feeling miserable during and after work, constantly having thefeeling of drowning, frequently experiencing negative thoughts and anxiety, behaving impulsively or feeling like you are in emotional crisis?

Do you feel stress beforea particular activity? Before work, do you get butterflies in your stomach andfeel like you are hyperventilating you take lots of little breaths instead ofdeep, calming ones? Maybe you dread going home because of relationships problemswith your family.

Have you tried traditionalmethods like yoga, escape trips, relaxing music, regular exercise, breathexercises or talking about your feelings with somebody else but the same stresssymptoms return, again, and again and again?

Maybe youve even developedsome unhealthy habits in an effort to minimize the symptoms, like drinking morefrequently, eating large quantities of sugar, smoking or taking sleeping pills?

For those who have triedeverything, or want to start dealing with stress in an effective way, this bookis for you. Here I will show you an easy to follow self-help method that youcan use whenever you want.

No New-age-fancy-sugar-coated-stuffhere. These are pure, emotional intelligence and self-awareness techniques thatactually work!

I have read hundreds ofbooks and articles related to stress management. I have tested all the methodsthat I have learned. Some of them worked, some didnt, but I kept testing and finallydeveloped the best process with a compilation of these concepts and now I useit every day.

I am a normal guy whoworks and has a life just like you, so I know what works well without being toopsychology oriented. In fact, I have helped many colleagues and friends to dealwith stress with this simple single method and they tell me that it actuallyworks and that they do feel better!

I decided to write thisbook because I feel terrible watching people falling helplessly into a negativespiral. Its sad to see them giving up on their dreams, goals and passions dueto circumstances. They let fear, guilt, shame or apathy take them over and seemto lose hope.

I believe that everyonehas the right to achieve their dreams. Anyone can and everyone should: one, take full responsibility for their lives and two, be able to pursue what theybelieve to be important.

After reading this book, you will be able to deal with stress completely differently to the way you aredoing so right now. You will learn that stress is not what you have been told. You will learn the real cause of stress and how easy it is to deal with it in asustainable way. You will also learn how recognizing stress can actually begood for you.

I have more good news foryou. This process will not only help you to deal with regular daily stress butalso those deep-rooted negative feelings that cause you stress. I am talkingabout feelings that developed when you were a child, the ones you have tried toignore or bury deep inside, until now. In this eBook, I will show you how tofind these feelings and resolve them so you can set yourself free.

In less than a week, youwill see and feel the results after you apply this process and it doesntmatter what the stress situation is. Be it a family issue, work issue, yourcolleagues, your boss, circumstances or even a challenging personal problem, this process applies to any and every stressful situation.

Stop feeling unworthy, miserable and like you are drowning because of stress. Heart disease and manyother health problems can be caused or exacerbated by stress if you donthandle it in the right way and right away.

People will begin to askyou how you can stay so upbeat and positive, despite all your difficultcircumstances. You will notice other people suffering because of stress whileyou know exactly how to deal with it and keep moving forward.

This book will make youaware of the fact that the concept of stress and how to deal with it have amuch deeper and more profound significance than you have been taught in thepast.

This process has beentested and approved. All you have to do is apply the method as soon as you can andstart experiencing the positive results in less than one week from now.

Watch your life change.Enjoy it.

What is stress?

You have probably alreadyread and heard several explanations related to stress. Whilst most of them mighthave had some element of the truth in them, most people misunderstand the realnature of stress.

Usually when people talkabout dealing with stress, they think in terms of getting away from it. Inother words, they look for a specific mindset or activity that will allow thento escape their reality or their problems.

If you work in achallenging environment and notice that your shoulders are tight, you registerthat you must be stressed. Some people will try to solve this by getting amassage, others will just want to go home and numb themselves by watching TV,others might go to a doctor so they can get a prescription for a pill and stillothers will have an alcoholic drink as soon as they get home. Each one of thesemeasures is about running away from reality. And not one of them will actuallyhelp you to deal with your perception of that reality.

Alcohol abuse and othercompulsive behaviors are not the real problems but symptoms of a deeper problem the inability to effectively deal with negative emotions. People drink andtake drugs to make those feelings go away. The processes of self-awarenessand self-knowledge are the first steps towards detaching from these compulsions.

Another example: say youhave a personal goal, like starting your own business. If you dwell on thelimited time available to invest in building that business or the concept ofthe business is too fuzzy, you will become frustrated, dissatisfied and ofcourse, stressed. If you set unrealistic or vague expectations about when thebusiness should be up and running or you dont have a specific start date or evena clear idea of what starting a business really means, you will feel stressedand de motivated. Is the starting point the first sale? Is it the completion ofthe physical building? Is it the registration with the government? Lack ofclarity is a very common source of stress.

You might be very happyand fulfilled in your job but maybe you feel unhappy about your weight and health. Likemillions of people around the world, you go on a diet. You lose a bit of weightor even a lot of weight and then go back to your old eating habits and end upheavier than you were before the diet. Rinse and repeat. The result isfrustration and stress because you are looking for a quick fix and you dontunderstand why you overeat or eat the wrong foods.

Another kind of stresswould be the simple realization that you are not pursuing the life you desire. Maybeyou would rather be working somewhere else or studying for a different degree thanthe one you have now. But because of fear, pride or shame, you persist withyour current life and start burying your dreams and eventually that will be thecause of much internal strife and stress.
