Dr. Paul Church endorses The Health Hazards of Homosexuality:
As a practicing clinician for 35 years, I have seen and treated the serious consequences associated with promiscuity and high-risk sexual behaviors, including those common to the LGBT community. The medical establishment has been all too silent on its duty to inform and alert the public to these dangers, as its ranks have become infiltrated by homosexual activists and its policy makers preoccupied with political correctness more than protecting the public welfare.
This new reference compiled by MassResistance contains a wealth of factual information drawn from mostly peer-reviewed medical journals and statistics compiled by highly credible sources, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is comprehensive in its scope and fully annotated with references to the cited sources.
This is an excellent go-to reference for those seeking accurate, truthful information on the health risks of certain sexual behaviors. I commend the authors for their hard work and their concern for the public health, and I recommend this book highly.

F OREWORD
What makes this book different? It is a unique resource on an untouchable subject.
Compiling a book like this presented an interesting challenge. A disproportionate incidence of pathologies is found among homosexual men, lesbians, and bisexuals. Yet the general public is told very little, if anything, about the baneful nature of homosexuality and its associated addictions and behaviors. The popular culture tells us, Look the other way; theres nothing to see here.
There is an enormous volume of information available, but its widely dispersed and often hard to find. We spent several years collecting and organizing it. This book provides detailed discussion of homosexual lifestyle issues, sexual practices, and their medical and psychological consequences. We include background information and historical context which may be new to many readers.
We present the material in terms the layman can understand, not as a morass of graphs and medical jargon. Chapters do not have to be read sequentially. Rather, sections can be read individually without missing anything. The book can be seen as an annotated bibliography, pulling together thousands of up-to-date sources into a single volume.
The medical community in the U.S. (and around the world) has done extensive study on homosexual health issues. This book cites that information, from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), medical professional associations, the American Psychological and Psychiatric Associations, the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association, the Fenway Institute, various LGBT-friendly clinical guides, and numerous research studies.
In addition, we document homosexual ideology, lifestyle, behaviors, and practices, referencing their public events, gay pride parades, videos, conferences, publications, and websites. (We also include a brief review of the transgender issue.) Some of the citations and images border on pornography, so reader beware! The vulgarity, however, exposes the very nature of homosexuality. It is one reason that homosexual health issues have not been presented truthfully to the public.
We also present critical viewpoints from outside the LGBT-affirming medical establishment for balance and context. For too long, honest discussion on this subject has been blocked by intimidation and even outright threats.
On most topics, several (or multiple) studies and sources are cited so the reader can see a breadth of perspectives and conclusions. Sources are meticulously documented with Internet links in 1,800 endnotes.
Does the book have a viewpoint? Yes: That too many of our fellow citizens, their family, and friends are suffering unnecessarily from the medical and psychological fallout of the homosexual or bisexual lifestyle. Homosexuality is not just a private personal issue; it is an important public health issue. We hope that the information in this book will encourage our society to take a step back, understand what the normalization of homosexuality has brought in its wake, and reconsider the course were on.
We hope you will read the information presented here with an open mind. Let the honest discussion begin!

P REFACE
This book aims to alert the public especially young people and their parents on the serious physical and psychological health dangers inherent in adopting a gay, lesbian, or bisexual (GLB) identity.
Recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings ( Lawrence v. Texas , 2003; Obergefell v. Hodges , 2015) declaring sodomy a right and a legitimate basis for marriage must be countered with the truth about homosexual and bisexual lifestyles and sexual practices, and the negative health consequences which follow. This work brings together in one place the brutal facts that are often dispersed, disguised, or buried thanks to the power of the homosexual lobby and their allies.
As psychologist Joseph Nicolosi wrote:
Most medical groups have embraced the homosexual agenda and are advocating that lifestyle despite all the scientific studies and medical evidence that demonstrate medical and psychological risks. Homosexual activism and political correctness are clearly trumping science.
CAUTION : Much of the information, language, images, and some links in this report are sexually graphic and may be offensive to some readers. This is just one result of the coarsening of our culture that has accompanied the normalization of homosexuality (and the sexual revolution in general). Such graphic information is needed, however, to make real the dangerous behaviors and practices that define the homosexual lifestyle and the harm that follows from them.
DISCLAIMER : The authors of this resource are not medical authorities. Rather, we refer to sources that are (or claim to be) authoritative, along with commentary and analysis from a variety of media and viewpoints. This survey of the medical literature does not claim to be definitive. It is, rather, a starting point for serious discussion.
Notes on vocabulary : GLB refers to gay, lesbian, bisexual. The T in LGBT or GLBT refers to transgender. (LGBT and GLBT are used interchangeably in the sources.) Q refers to queer or questioning. MSM refers to men who have sex with men, which includes homosexual men (gays) and bisexual men, plus men who engage in homosexual practices with other men but may not self-identify as either gay or bisexual. MSMW refers to men who have sex with men and women. WSW refers to women who have sex with women, which includes lesbians and bisexual women. Homosexual is used primarily to refer to men, but can also refer to women. (We avoid the politically loaded word gay.) BDSM refers to bondage-domination-sadism-masochism. STD means sexually transmitted disease; STI means sexually transmitted infection. CDC refers to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
