Introduction
What's so hard about interviewing job applicants? After all, you have the superior position, and you have a job to offer. All you have to do is select which of the many people clamoring to be employed best suits you.
Most of the people you interview will be interested, enthusiastic, and eager to work at your place of business. Most will claim to have vast experience in just what it is you need them to have done, and they will profess a willingness and ability to learn any new skills that might be required of them.
Many of the job applicants will insist that money is not the deciding factor for them in seeking the ideal position. They will say they are more interested in opportunity, both to learn and to serve your specific needs.
With so many people like this to choose from, why is it that so many of us experience problems with new employees? Are they all lying through their teeth during the job interviews, or are we failing to ask the right questions?
