Meet the Author
LIVINGSTONE MUKASA

My work experience for the last 20 years has been about helping people make economic progress. I have been involved in product designs, development and introductions to markets, in the manufacturing and service sectors. From managing other people businesses to starting and managing my own I have learnt many lessons that I am inspired to share. I have travelled extensively in the USA, Europe, Asia and Africa facilitating Seminars and workshops and participating in start-up events and accelerators. I am an entrepreneur, coach and mentor to thousands of people in Uganda and elsewhere. I have built several businesses; some of which have been successful and others ultimately failed. I am called to help other get in and stay in business primarily through the creation and support of sustainable solutions to poverty. Suffice to note, my training as a marketing professional has been a big help.

In 2003, I started the Clean Consult Limited from scratch in 2003 and it has grown it steadily since then and currently serves as its Managing Director. In 2009 I started Living Business Education and currently serve as Lead Business Trainer. Together with my team, we have trained more than 30,000 people in the last 12 years. In 2015, I authored a book about preparing and investing for Retirement called Investing for the Future. Ugandas best sellers on

retirement Planning. The following year in 2016, I founded Mazima Retirement Plan, which is implementing a vision of universal access to pension coverage especially for those in the informal sector. I currently serve on the National Committee on Social protection and Social Insurance for the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development of the Government of Uganda. In 2016 we built a startup, Four One Financial Services Limited that seeks to build digital financial bridges for people to their dreams and I am honored to serve as its Chief Executive Officer,

I love interacting with my huge fan base on social media channels and regularly cover personal finance issues in the media. My travels have taken me many places doing business and training. I am considered is a global resource especially about the role of business in ending poverty and savings mobilization. I am compassionate and passionate about people and life in general. I am married to Martha Mukasa. Together we have lovely children and live in Salaama, Munyonyo, Kampala, Uganda.
