The Testosterone Bible
All You Need to Know About Testosterone and How You Can Boost It Naturally
Introduction
I want to thank you and congratulate you for downloading the book, The Testosterone Bible - All You Need to Know About Testosterone and How You Can Boost It Naturally .
This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to improve your testosterone levels.
The importance of testosterone can never be emphasized enough. This hormone plays a key role in the development and enhancement of masculine characteristics. With age, testosterone levels tend to diminish, leading to lower sexual drive, cardiovascular risks, decreased muscle strength, lower bone density and an overall irritability. This book will introduce the testosterone hormone and its benefits to you along with safe and healthy alternatives to medicines and steroids that can boost the levels of this hormone for a stronger and happier you.
Dr. Spyros Mezitis, an endocrinologist, working at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, deals with a number of patients in their late 40s and 50s who come to him and open up about the inhibitions around their sexual lives and how it affects the relationships around him. Dr. Mezitis has shown us how a low testosterone level is directly linked with erectile dysfunction and how more men are suffering from this condition in modern times.
Whats more, the deficiency could either be symptomatic or asymptomatic. Thats why, when men come to get their fatigue, physical weakness, and depression checked out, the first thing they want to rule out is low testosterone levels. While there could be other issues at work, the major concern and red flag is whether you are still as effective in bed. This book is a handout that you were probably waiting for because not everyone wants to go through a list of medication to ensure they are living the best days of their lives.
Along with catering to your needs to boost the testosterone hormone, this book can simply be used as a source of information that you can use if you find yourself in need of information for a common problem that youre a little shy to talk about. You need not necessarily have to have low levels of testosterone to read this book. Being equipped with information never really hurt and you never know if youre going to need it. Besides, prevention is a great cure!
The idea is to not be bombarded by media and have faith in natural ways of boosting testosterone. Everywhere you go, the media is trying to find ways in which to create insecurities in us so they can peddle their latest product that we never knew there was a need for. Call it marketing, or niche advertising, but the messages they are all sending out are crystal clear: You are not good enough, and we have the solution to your problem! However, we assure you that nothing is impossible; not when you know the means to reach the end, especially when the solution is safer, healthier and comes from your own pantry!
A deficiency is not the end of the world, but a new beginning of a whole world of possibilities!
Thanks again for downloading this book, I hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 1
Introducing the Wonder Hormone, Testosterone
Belonging to a class of male hormones called androgens, testosterone is mainly produced in the testes, with a small amount being produced by the adrenal glands. Both men and women produce testosterone. It is quintessential to the sexual and reproductive development of men and is thus produced in higher quantities in men than in women. Women produce an insignificant amount in comparison.
Labeled as the most important male hormone by the National Institutes of Health, the production of this wonder hormone is controlled by the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland. The communication begins with the brain sending signals via the neurological system to the pituitary gland on how much testosterone needs to be produced. The pituitary gland, in turn, instructs the testes to produce the same amount of the hormone which takes care of important bodily functions.
Testosterone is at work even before birth, when the initial formation and development of the male sex organs begin. Later, at puberty, this hormone is responsible for the development of secondary male sexual characteristics, like deepening of voice, enhanced penis and testes size, and growth of facial and body hair.
Now why would we call it the wonder hormone? The fact that it is not only crucial to your sex life but also extends its benefits to other important bodily functions, makes this hormone a game-changer for a man. The Mayo Clinic believes that testosterone plays a significant role in enhancing sex drive, effective sperm production, regular distribution of fat in the body and augmentation of muscle strength and mass. With so many important roles to fill, it is needless to say that this hormone is has a key role in maintaining the health and well-being of a man.
Taking the role of this hormone to yet another level, a 2008 study published in the journal Frontiers of Hormone Research suggests a possible link between balanced levels of testosterone and the prevention of osteoporosis in men. This has sparked further studies and research in this field.
Chapter 2
Why do you need Testosterone?
Whenever you are dealing with the cause and effects of a particular substance, body part or hormone, you are often caught up in a cycle and find it difficult to conclude what actually makes a difference; the cause or the effect. Similarly, researchers run into the problem of determining whether good health ensures optimal levels of testosterone, or whether optimal levels of the same ensure health benefits. However, most findings come up with evidence-led conclusions that show how this hormone plays a number of roles in your life and why you must strive to maintain an optimal level. Listed below are some of the health benefits it contributes to:
