Editors Notes
Although the studies presented in this volume represent only a very select sample of Professor Canters research directions, developed by the elite of the young researchers who have worked with him to date, the range of Investigative Psychology topics addressed is enormous. To help the reader, I have therefore provided an introductory overview chapter that sets out some of the basic premises of the Canter-IP approach.
I also provide a brief commentary at the start of each chapter to help the reader position each individuals contribution within the overall Canter-IP framework and in particular relate it to a few of his recent key writings. The writings I cite in these commentaries are listed below for ease of reference.
