About the Author

Drucilla Cornell received her B.A. in philosophy and mathematics from Antioch College in 1978, and her J.D. from UCLA Law School in 1981. She is professor of political science, womens studies, and comparative literature at Rutgers University, and she has recently accepted an appointment as a chaired professor with the faculty of law and philosophy at the University of Cape Town.
