Deficient Energy: When undercharged, one may feel overly cautious, anxious, fearful, insecure, question life, and the importance or right to be here. This may also lead to violent behavior and aggressiveness or weakness and the loss of drive or desire for life. The drive for sexuality may be slow and weak leading to a masochistic nature in severe cases. There may be a lack of discipline and routines. One may also be unorganized and notice challenges with finances. Physically one might be weak, malnourished and underweight or overweight. Underweight can be due to the lack of presence the spirit has in the body. Overweight can show up when the physical body is trying to maintain awareness of the body to the spirit. Irritability and aggressiveness may arise when they are forced to deal with issues on the earth plane. |
Excessive Energy: An overcharged Root Chakra can be noted in those who are too materialistic, fascinated and obsessed with wealth, greed, sex, power and in worldly things; which may lead to hoarding. Those who are egotistic, domineering, greedy, or sadistic have the characteristics of an overactive Root Chakra. There may be an excessive compulsion related to security and safety. They may tend to be lazy, lethargic and overweight. |
Adverse Health Conditions: Disorders affecting sacrum, spine, spleen, excretion, & sexual organs may be present in a system where the Root Chakra is unhealthy. Adverse conditions related to bones, teeth, lower back, legs, and feet may also occur. |
Addictions: Addictions include risk taking: gambling, an overindulgence in food, excessive and impulsive shopping and over working (workaholics). |
Traumas and Abuses: Traumatic experiences that may affect the Root Chakra include: birth trauma, childhood abuse or neglect, abandonment, trauma events, deficient physical bonding with mother, severe illness, difficulty receiving nutrition, catastrophic life event, and past life / parallel life trauma. The developmental time period related to the Root Chakra is 0-7 years of age. Any traumatic life events between birth and seven years will adversely affect the Root Chakra. |
Spiritual Challenge / Lessons / Experience: Challenges include: feeling a sense of belongingness and a connection with Gaia (the spirit of Mother Earth), Nature, and Humanity; remembering who you are, your mission and honoring your experience and right to me be here incarnate. Connecting and living in this physical dimension can also be challenging, especially for those souls who are new to the Earth Plane or are hesitant to be here. |
