DEDICATION To Martha Fagundes Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM THIS BOOK Welcome to Coloring to Calm, Volume Two Patterns.
As the name implies, this book is your portal to coloring yourself into a calm state of mind, while transporting you back to one of childhoods most popular and creative activities: Coloring! Each of the 25 patterns in this book is original and was created to gently pull you into its intricate lines, shapes, and swirls where your mind will lose itself in the peaceful and tactile act of putting color onto paper. You should begin coloring on the pattern that captures your attention. If thats the first design, the last design, or another within the book thats the perfect place to begin your journey! There are no right or wrong ways to color these patterns you dont even have to stay in the lines if youd rather not. The only rule is that you have fun! SUPPLIES The patterns in this book are fairly intricate, so theyre best suited to colored pencils or ink pens; however, you should feel free to use any medium you wish. Ive also included two intentionally blank pages (in the back of the book) for you to cut out and use behind the page youre working on. (Placing a blank sheet of paper behind the pattern youre coloring will help protect the pages that follow from indentations and ink bleed.) ENHANCED CALMING Listening to relaxing music is a great way to add to your coloring experience, and its the way I prefer to color.
Of course, whatever your perfect ambiance is... thats best! Happy Coloring, Shelly AND NOW, A REQUEST FROM THE AUTHOR Did you enjoy this book?
