Well there are quiet so many factors that can lead to aching of hip flexor and usually it is persons own fault. There are some bad postures and activities that can affect your hip muscles. Some people get worried when they hear clicking noises, when they move their hip. It is not something to be worried about, it is normally due to loose cartilage at the corner of hip joint, and the only way to avoid it is proper care especially if you are above 50.
