Barking at the Herd:
A Mythic Manifesto of the Heroic
By Doonvorcannon
I bark for those who would listen. I bark for those who are meant for much more.
For the few. For the tired. For those looking for a reason and searching for an answer. I bark for you.
Leave the herd.
It begins with a bark and ends with a bite.
With love and power, I present to you this book. May it be of use.
Table of Contents
This is a book for the few and not the many. Whether you are a reactionary, a nationalist, a dissident, or an identitariannone of that matters. What matters is that you have this book in your hands and the fact that you possess such an immortal tome shows that you are on the righteous path of tyranny for tomorrow. The title of this book describes what it is that I set out to do. I am Doonvorcannon; the one that howls and hunts, that bites and claws at the maggots nestled into the rotten flesh of the cult of modernity. Most of the herd has maggots so embedded that to remove such a pestilence requires a natural culling that must and will take place. This culling is non-violent and natural; it is simply the right reception of my bark and the abandonment of the herd for a powerful tyranny that only the freed person can enact. The weak will die out due to an inability and/or desire to procreate sufficiently. They will march off the cliff in due time, barring a stampede-causing event taking place.
I bark at the herd so as to prevent the evil shepherds from bringing us all over the edge, even us righteous tyrants of tomorrow. They want us over the cliff, destroying tradition, culture and nationhood as we know it. This book is for those who would seek power and use it to establish a new tradition that celebrates victory, no matter how immoral the sissy fits claim and shout it to be. I seek to evoke a desire for eternal power that is connected to the blood of the past and future, by exploring and dissecting the heroes of old (both mythical and actual). Some myths give us ways and methods to supplant the current decay wrought by cultural elites. Other myths teach us modern crybabies to man up and seek glory and to never be satisfied.
Satisfaction and comfort are sins, and the two biggest culprits that have led to the worthlessness of mainstream culture and politics as a whole, especially when considering the majority. Victory over vicewhat degenerates is what welcomes the abyss. What is beautiful burns with light, dispelling the darkness the vice of the lowly try to curse the victorious with, attempting to force an equality that only drags down the whole into the nothingness.
At times in this book I share my own personal struggles, seeking to help others learn from my mistakes and sufferings. I survived a suicide attempt and learned many lessons of reality from the degenerate nihilism that possessed me as a demon, only three years ago. I want to offer an alternative to the flabby ennui that is swallowing and beginning to digest our society. I dont want to have to rebuild from what is excreted, after the old has been completely dissolved in the stomach acid of greedy individualism. We are not fully submerged in the digestive tract just yet!
This is a book of action, designed to make you want to move with a mythic heroism in mind. Im trying to recapture the glory of our mythic and heroic past. Im trying to steer the worthy still trapped in the herd, unto the narrow path of becomingbecoming gods as we were always supposed to be. With this book I want to inspire as many of you as possible to become so heroic and powerful that the mythic is transformed into a final, yes-saying actuality. Say yes to power and drink the cup of poison with glee. Murder your lazy self and resurrect with eternity: Socrates received his death bravely and his ideas became an entity of their own. Drink the cup and taste the burn. If you read this and act, the bitter poison will transmute to the sweetest of honey, and the nectar of the gods will remain at a constant drip into your soul.
A few definitions and clarifications: much of what I say regarding nationalism is within the American system. That doesnt mean the same methods of takeover cannot be applied elsewhere, but for sake of brevity and simplicity I focus mostly on America when discussing the political realm and government. Also, when I refer to tyrants and tyranny I do so positively unless explicitly stated otherwise. To be a tyrant is to tyrannize your own weakness, and to be powerful in everything you do. It is to have a commanding (whether literal or figurative) influence over others too. Nationalism is used as a placeholder for those who want to become a powerful people worthy of the heroic countenance. By nationalism I mean a combination of traditionalism, respecting and seeking power, and caring for your own before anyone else.
The moderns call us Dark Age backwards fools, for they cannot comprehend what it is to seek power and glory in a heroic manner. They see anything honoring the past as a threat to their sissified society that believes greatness is a sin and that weakness is the only good. Light to them is darkness. To them, everything is the opposite of what should be. To one submerged in total darkness, light is as fire is to ice. Yet, to one wrapped in true light, darkness can only pierce such a shroud when eyes are shut. My eyes are open and my gaze is fixed on the heroic, and the brilliant glow of power will dispel the shadows of leftist villainy. Darkness is an absence of light. Where tradition is forgotten and heroism maligned, there is an absence of true power. The power possessed by the elites is perverted and a lie. Their power stems from resentment and weakness. True power is the ultimate good, and it is the source from which all heroism flows. Burn away the shadows of weakness! Burn away the absence of greatness!
There was once a herdsman from Greek mythology known as Actaeon who met an untimely end. His fate was a gruesome one. He was turned into a deer and his own hounds hunted him and tore him to pieces. I want to set the hounds of our system against itself, even if it takes an Actaeon to bring about such change. Im not calling for violence or a militaristic overthrow; such thinking is pointless and unhelpful in our digital age. Im calling for using the system against itself, taking positions of power and enacting change until the herd is once more freed to follow greatness. Never forget that even the hunter can become the hunted. This is a comment on infiltration and how democracy can be turned against itself. In Actaeons myth, he was punished for gazing at Artemis, the virgin goddess of the hunt, while she was naked. She told him not to speak, yet he heard his dogs and he called out to them and was punished. Im gazing at the naked source of power and beauty that tradition holds, and its allure is kindling my will into a blaze of fiery power. I might be turned into a stag meant to be hunted by our sad little system of cultural decay. Ive seen the glory and power of our past, and to not speak on it is to fall in darkness. We must all realize the dangers of seeking glory. The longing for heroism, and admiration of its pure beauty could lead to us being devoured by our own machinations. It is worth it because our age is desperate for a change.
Our age is desperate for real heroes of mythic proportion to arise from out of the shadows and to hurl thunderbolts at the carrions of darkness decaying our culture and nations. So, I have set out to write this book. Ive taken much time and risk exposure, but if even just one of you out there becomes worthy of the mythic heroic, I can close my eyes in peace and let the darkness consume me as the torch burns on in your hand. Heroism is at hand! May we go forth as light bearers into the abyss. Tartarus cannot hold us forever. The earth is trembling. The mountains are ready to be climbed. The summits are abandoned. From the top, we can drown the world in the glow of tradition and power. A change is coming, and heroism is required. Become gods and goddesses! Mt. Olympus awaits.
