Preface

Contemporary epistemology is a vibrant and wideranging field within philosophy. Some anthologies, including our earlier effort, Epistemology: An Anthology, aim at giving the reader more or less comprehensive access to influential works across the field. This anthology takes a different approach. It covers a set of interrelated topics which, taken together, comprise the materials for a unified course in epistemology, suitable either for graduate students or upperlevel undergraduates.
