DIY Room Spray to Kill Virus

Staying safe during this time of viruses circulating the globe has become more critical than ever. Apart from the regular recommendations for staying healthy like washing your hands, a good way is to have a room spray to kill the virus. To help you get started, here are 50 DIY room spray recipes that you can whip up in less than 5 minutes. The secret to the effectiveness of these sprays is essential oils. Not only do they have natural disinfecting properties, but they also smell incredible. So, here they are.

1. Bergamot spray

This gives off a floral scent.

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops Bergamot oil
• 15 drops Cinnamon Bark
• 15 drops Cajeput

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the bergamot oil, cinnamon bark, and cajeput

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

2. Lemon spray

This is effective as an antiseptic.

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops Cassia
• 15 drops Myrrh
• 15 drops Lemon

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the lemon, myrrh and cassia oils

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

3. Cinnamon leaf spray

This unique blend has proven effective.

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops Chamomile
• 15 drops Cinnamon Leaf
• 15 drops Eucalyptus Radiata

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the Eucalyptus Radiata, cinnamon leaf and Chamomile

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

4. Cinnamon bark spray

With just a few drops of the essential oils, you can kill the virus in your room.

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops Cinnamon Bark
• 15 drops Oregano
• 15 drops Tea tree oil

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the tea tree oil, Oregano, and cinnamon bark

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

5. Oregano spray

This spray takes just a few minutes to make

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops bergamot oil
• 15 drops Oregano
• 15 drops Elemi

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the Elemi, Oregano and bergamot oil

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

6. Eugenol spray

This is also antibacterial

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops Cistus
• 15 drops Eucalyptus globulous
• 15 drops Eugenol

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the Eugenol, eucalyptus, and Cistus

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

7. Elemi spray

Get the Ingredients at your local store, and you are good to go.

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops Elemi
• 15 drops Eucalyptus Radiata
• 15 drops Clove Bud

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the clove bud, eucalyptus, and Elemi

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

8. True Melissa spray

The scent is relaxing.

Ingredients

• 16 oz ethanol
• teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
• 15 drops True Melissa
• 15 drops Cinnamon Bark
• 15 drops Cajeput

Directions

Get a spray bottle and fill with the 16 oz of ethanol

Add a half teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the alcohol

Mix in the cajeput, cinnamon bark and true Melissa

Put on the spray top

Shake the contents to mix well

9. Geranium spray

Apart from the effectiveness, it is soothing.
