Jayanta Kumar Patra, PhD, PDF
Jayanta Kumar Patra, MSc, PhD, PDF, is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Research Institute of Biotechnology and Medical Converged Science, Dongguk University, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. His current research is focused on nanoparticle synthesis by green technology methods and their potential application in biomedical and agricultural fields. He has about 12 years of research and teaching experience in the field of food, pharmacology, and nanobiotechnology. Since 2007, he has published more than 120 papers in various national and international peer-reviewed journals and around 25 book chapters in different edited books. Dr. Patra has also authored 9 books in various publications like STUDIUM Press (India); STUDIUM Press LLC USA; Springer Nature publisher; CRC Press and Apple Academic Press, Inc., Canada, CRC Press, a Taylor & Francis group. In addition, he is editorial board member of several national and international journals.
Gitishree Das, PhD, PDF
Gitishree Das, PhD, PDF, is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Research Institute of Biotechnology and Medical Converged Science, Dongguk University, Ilsandong, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. She has 10 years of research experience in the field of rice molecular biology, breeding, and endophytic bacteria, green nano-technology and three year of teaching experience. Dr. Das has completed her PhD (Life Sciences) at North Orissa University, India on rice gene pyramiding (Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, India) and PDF (Biotechnology) from Yeungnam University, South Korea. She has undergone professional training in the field of biotechnology at various international and national organizations. Her current research is focused on the biosynthesis of nanoparticles using food wastes and plant materials and their application in the biomedical and agricultural fields. To her credit, she has published around 60 research articles in international and national reputed journals and ten book chapters. Dr. Das has also authored four books for Springer Nature and LAMBERT Academic publishers. She is an editorial board member of some national and international journals.
