Clare Barron

Clare Barron is a playwright and actor from Wenatchee, Washington. Her plays include: Dance Nation , which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the winner of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, the winner of the Relentless Award, the winner of an Obie Award and received its premiere at Playwrights Horizons in New York City and subsequently at the Almeida Theatre in London and is now playing across the USA and internationally; You Got Older , which received its world premiere with Playwriting Fellowship and the Paula Vogel Award at the Vineyard, and a former member of Youngblood and the Soho Rep Writer-Director Lab.

Jay Miller is the theatre director who founded The Yard Theatre and has led the organisation since its conception. Jay grew up in Newcastle, studied at Cambridge University and trained at LEcole de Jacques Lecoq in Paris, and at the National Theatre, London. At The Yard, Jay has identified and launched the careers of a number of artists who have gone on to be commissioned and produced by internationally recognised organisations, such as the National Theatre, Royal Court, Channel 4, Netflix and many regional venues in the UK.
Emma Bailey
DESIGNER
Emma is an award-winning set and costume designer based in London. Having started her career in architecture she uses her spatial and draughting skills to explore her fascination with 3D and 2D design and performance. Her work comprises many elements of design including fashion, illustration and sculptural installation.
In 2011 Emma was awarded the prestigious Linbury Prize for Stage Design with her production Roy Orbison in Clingfilm at the Royal Opera House. Emma has also been a JMK finalist 3 times and once as runner-up in 2014 with director Kim Pearce.
Emma has designed for a range of venues, including the Royal Opera House, Royal Shakespeare Company, Young Vic and Pyramid Stage Glastonbury. Emma designed the sets for Six The Musical which is running in Londons West End and is touring the globe to critical and audience acclaim and is on Broadway in 2020.
Rajiv Pattani
LIGHTING DESIGNER
Rajiv graduated from LAMDA in 2014 with qualifications in Stage Management and Technical Theatre, Recent design work includes: Dismantle This Room (Jerwood Downstairs Royal Court Theatre); Wolfie (Theatre503); (Vaults Festival 2019); Babylon Beyond Borders (Bush Theatre); Bullet Hole (Park Theatre Park90); Leave Taking (Bush Theatre); Roman Candle (Theatre503, Manchester 53Two, Ivy Studio Greenside Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018); Dismantle This Room Project 2036 (Bush Studio).
Josh Anio Grigg
SOUND DESIGNER AND ADITIONAL COMPOSITION
Josh Anio Grigg mainly works in the medium of sound, but also includes other new media practices as well as arts facilitation ideas into his projects.
In 2008 he completed a Drama, Theatre and Performance degree at Roehampton University of Surrey.
He has designed and performed sound in many spaces in London including the National Theatre, The Gate and The Yard Theatre as well as creating and performing sound in festivals across Europe under a variety of names.
Jonah Brody
COMPOSER
Jonah Brody is an Integrative Psychotherapist and Composer. He currently works as a facilitator running retreats combining psychedelics and psychotherapy. When not doing this he tours with bands, writes pop songs and looks after his tiny son. His theatre credits include Removal Men (The Yard); This Beautiful Future (The Yard); Mother Land (Young Vic); Stroke Odysseys (The Place and Touring).
