Kara Sweeney
While still young and freshly graduated from university, saying that Kara Sweeney is just starting out would be an understatement. Kara had her first experiences with self-employment before she was even a teenager. Shes had a number of unique ventures and has always been very passionate about finding the opportunities and possibilities to be her own boss. Through high school Kara worked for herself, while also staying involved with extracurricular and volunteer activities, and keeping her grades high enough to earn herself a university scholarship. All the while, she saved enough money to pay for her university tuition throughout the four years of her Entrepreneurship Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Growing up in a very entrepreneurial family, Kara decided that entrepreneurship was right for her early on in life. With both parents owning their own businesses, Kara experienced first-hand the benefits of working for oneself and took part in discussions regarding real life situations. Kara has had an interest in helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals her entire life. This passion for entrepreneurship has naturally led her to help other entrepreneurs succeed in their businesses. This passion grew as she enrolled in entrepreneurship courses through high school, helped entrepreneurs to grow their businesses at the Acadia Centre for Small Business and Entrepreneurship through university, and learned even more through various entrepreneurship courses and business plan developments throughout her degree in entrepreneurship. Now, as she continues to learn more valuable marketing and business skills both through real world experience and through studying for her MBA, the learning never stops.
Kara has used social media to stay in touch with high school friends all around the world as they attended different universities.
