A TRIBUTE TO LAURA WHITWORTH

In 2005, several years after I entered the profession of coaching, I received a call I never imagined I would receive. The call was from Laura Whitworth, one of the cofounders of the coaching and certification school I attended, Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She was in the process of creating The Bigger Game Company, which would bring to the world the social and leadership change model she and cofounder Rick Tamlyn developed when they realized that people have a deep yearning to make a difference in this wild, wonderful, and wacky worldthey just dont know how. No matter what their clients asked to be coached on, they all went through a pretty common range of elements to move into action around what they wanted to change in their lives. Those elements eventually became The Bigger Game model.
