ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Simon Frayne
Simon Frayne is a highly sought after business and management consultant, expert in creating business growth and profitability, experienced corporate manager, author, previous national level elite cricketer and an accomplished speaker on the national circuit.
Born in Sydney, Simon spent his formative years in Bunbury, Western Australia. A keen cricketer, Simon was selected for the Under 16 WA state cricket team at the tender age of 14. This started an elite cricketing career that spanned over 12 years. He first travelled Australia for two years playing in the Under 16 national tournament before travelling to England during his Year 12 studies to play.
With life still revolving around his cricket he juggled the demands of his sport and study completing Year 12 and then undertaking a commerce degree. He travelled the country playing cricket representing WA for four years in the WA Institute of Sport Under 23 team which he captained in the final year. It was during these years that his passion for individual and team performance developed.
Simon finished his commerce degree in 1991 and entered the workforce as an accountant. He went on to study the CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant) program and a post graduate Diploma of Finance, while still managing to play in the WA Sheffield Shield squad travelling the country from 1991 to 1995. He also spent six months during this time living in England playing professional cricket.
In 1999, Simon moved to Sydney and entered the world of management consulting. His skill in strategy development, at mentoring and directing companies to achieve huge success rapidly became apparent so in 2005 he left his senior management role at Talent2 and started his own management consulting firm.
His company focused on pre-list capital raising for growth companies and improving business performance. Many of his clients realised huge success both financially, operationally and personally by implementing Simons advice.
For two years Simon was the NSW distributor for SMI (Success Motivation International) and delivered phenomenally successful courses and instruction to individuals and businesses.
In 2009, he moved back to Western Australia and continued consulting to businesses both large and small across the country.
In 2011, Simon developed the Formula 1 program with associate Daniel OConnor. The incredibly successful program helps businesses massively boost their success to reach their full potential, profitability and value while allowing owners to take back control of their lives.
Simon has travelled extensively both nationally and internationally. Just some of the countries he has visited or lived in include England, Scotland, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Thailand.
With a past as an elite sportsman, keeping in shape is important to Simon. He is a keen mountain biker and tennis player and loves his daily fitness training.
