2 UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF GIVING
You sell amazing canvas tote bags. They are different from all the others because you take special care with the quality of the canvas and they last a lot longer. More than that, you have beautiful unique local designs on them, you produce them locally and you use eco-friendly methods.
So create a SMALLER product to give away which promotes your brand a cute MUG with an inspirational saying and one of your unique designs, when the customer spends a certain amount.
Some great gifts are an e-book , a discount for three people or more, a free $5 gift voucher for signing up to your mailing list, or birthday register.
A small gift creates trust, gives your client your web address in a physical form and helps them to FEEL THE LOVE.
It can also be FREE ADVERTISING for you! Just make sure your logo, your product or your voucher has your URL on it.
3 - WRITE GREAT CONTENT
Your fans want to hear something new, something they havent seen before and something that you do WELL.
Lets say you create BEAUTIFUL jewellery.
- Let them know exactly what tools you use to create with.
- Do a step-by-step video on a simple piece to show how you make your goods.
- Give a hot tip on how to keep your pieces clean and sparkling with common household products.
You have ENGAGED your followers. Youve given them something to LOOK at and something to THINK about.
This is GREAT content. Other ideas are a funny saying, an inspirational quote, a last minute bargain. Something that provides value TODAY will encourage your fans to SHARE and BUY.
4 TELL A GREAT STORY
Learn how to tell a great story about your brand every day. You have a history! You started your business for a reason! Youve been running your business for some time so give us some INSIGHT into the good times and the bad times. Let us know that you won a contract, show us pictures of a before and after, give us todays special offer.
