W e always regard diet as a short, grueling period after which we will find ourselves in perfect shape. But, a good diet is actually a change in lifestyle, that does not only restrict the consumption of harmful food to get in better shape, but to lead a longer, healthier, and stronger life.
That is exactly what the Dr. Sebi Diet offers.
Dr. Sebi, or Alfredo Bowman, the renowned herbalist creator of the diet suffered himself from a host of diseases that made his life unbearable: diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure. He wanted to find a permanent, stable cure to his problems, without relying on medications or on the health care system, that so often has disappointed and abandoned African-Americans.
Dr. Sebi 's diet focuses on consuming plant-based and avoiding refined foods.
It is simply a vegan, plant-based diet that restricts foods and products made by industrialized processes.
Dr. Sebi posited that you create an alkaline state in your body when you do these two things, which makes it impossible for disease to reside in. All the products and foods on the diet are carefully chosen to minimize acidity in your food and your body mucus.
