Whether you are a photographer who wants to try something different or someone who just likes to pose for pictures, this guide will provide some wonderful ideas. The poses in this book are similar to those found in the national swimsuit magazines such as the Sports Illustrated annual Swimsuit Issue. Posing can be as simple as being still and doing nothing, to being an art form that requires lots of practice and careful adjustments. Not everyone is a natural at posing, but everyone can find a pose in which they can look their best.

The female figure looks most wonderful when all the curves are emphasised. The most basic curves are the C-curve and the S-curve when the curves of the body from the top of the head to the tips of the toes form a C shape or an S shape. Be sure to practice good posture. Good posture is something that must be practiced every day. It is difficult to pose with good posture if one does not make it a natural habit.
