The Model T had a top s peed of 4045 mph (6472 k m/h) and could travel about 17 miles (27 k m) on one gallon of fuel. Fifteen million Ford Model Ts had rolled off t he assembly line before production finally st opped in 1927. Ford Mo del T Early models had gas lights and no s tarter motor. The engine h ad to be s tarted by turning the crank handle at t he front.
