Preface
The AP Chemistry Exam was changed in 2007. Dont use an old study guide to prepare for a new test!
College-level lectures, tests, quizzes, homework problems, and labs are to be evaluated in a 3-hour examination. Its just you and the AP exam. In preparing to do the very best job possible, you have four options:
Read your entire textbook again.
Do all of your homework problems again.
Buy a test preparation guide that has every conceivable type of problem in it and that in many cases is thicker than your textbook and that you will never be able to finish and that does not explain how to do well on the essay portion of the exam and does not review all of the laboratory experiments required and tested.
Use CliffsAP Chemistry, 4th Edition along with CliffsAP 5 Chemistry Practice Exams.
Im glad you chose option 4. Ive taught chemistry for over 33 years, and Ive put together in this book what I believe are the most up-to-date types of questions that you will experience on the AP Chemistry Exam. Each question is thoroughly explained and the format of each practice exam is exactly what you will see when you take the actual exam. With other AP exams to study for and other time commitments, you need a quick set of practice exams that will cover everything you need to know. With CliffsAP Chemistry, 4th Edition to help you cover in more detail the topics covered in the practice exams, you will be absolutely prepared.
