2 cups Epsom salt
I cup Baking soda or coarse sea salt
1 tablespoon of vegetable oils such as sweetalmond oil and olive oil.
10-20 drops of essential oils like lavenderand geranium essential oils.
1 teaspoon of natural colorants such ascocoa powder (brown), turmeric (orange), calendula petals (yellow),cayenne (red), paprika (pink), French clay (green).
2 tablespoons of dried, finely ground herbs(optional) such as Calendula flowers, Chamomile flowers, Lavenderflowers, Rose petals, and Rosemary leaves.
1. Mix the Epsom salt, sea salt, olive oil,and herbs (if using) in a large glass bowl using a woodenspoon.
2. Add the essential oils drop by drop toscent the mixture.
3. Color the mixture with the colorant.
4. Pack the bath salts in your glassjar.
1. Mix the Epsom salt, sea salt, and oliveoil in a large glass bowl using a wooden spoon.
2. Add the essential oils to scent themixture, divide it into two and place half in another bowl.
3. Color one half of the mixture with thefirst color and the other half with the second color.
4. Pack half of the bath salts in yourchosen first color in the glass jar.
5. Sprinkle a tablespoon of your chosendried herb above it.
6. Pack half of the bath salts in yoursecond color above this layer.
7. Sprinkle another tablespoon of yourchosen dried herb above it.
8. Pack the remainder of the bath salts inyour first color in the glass jar next.
9. Sprinkle another tablespoon of yourchosen dried herb above it.
10. Pack the last of the colored bath saltsinto the jar.
11. Top it off with the final tablespoonof your chosen herb.
Arthritis Bath Salts Recipe
2 cups Epsom salt
I cup Baking soda or coarse sea salt
1 tablespoon of vegetable oils withanti-inflammatory properties such as Pomegranate oil or Hemp seedoil. If you dont have these oils you can simply use olive oil.
10 - 20 drops of essential oils used for thetreatment of arthritis such as Eucalyptus, Lemon, Lavender, Peppermint, Roman chamomile, andRosemary essential oils.
1 teaspoon dried ground herbs (optional)used to manage arthritis such as arnica flowers, lavender flowers,rosemary leaves.
