To Jacob, my son and Bubba. I love your curiosity and desire to learn. Though I have been a teacher for over two decades, you inspire me to be the eternal student.
To Juliana, my daughter and baby girl. Your humor and laughter can always put a smile on my face.

Acknowledgments
This journey would not have been possible without my family. Jacob and Juliana, you are my Captain Toothless and Princess Sourpuss, my Bubba and my baby girl. Jennifer, I know you were just as stressed as I was with the book. I have wanted only the best for you and the kids. Whenever I am with you I feel safe. Like I am home. I am glad I am home. I love you so much.
I also have to thank my parents for all the support and encouragement over the years. I appreciated it more than you know.
Thanks goes to Robyn Thomas, my editor, without whose insight and motivation I could not have gotten through video after video after video after video.
To Rob Schwartz, the brains behind brainbuffet.com and this book series. Thanks for involving me in this endeavor. I owe you a lotgoing all the way back to Rickards and McFatter. I admire your tenacity, brilliance, and modesty.
Jonathan Gordon
Thanks go to editor Robyn Thomas, who kept the project together; and to Chad Chelius, whose deep knowledge of InDesign helped ensure the technical accuracy of this book. And a mountain of thanks to Sarah, who patiently supported me during the long hours of writing this book.
