Assembly

Holding 1 Sole each color tog, with turquoise on top, thread yarn needle with a length of hot pink and, working through both thicknesses, sew tog with running stitch(see illustration) through sts of rnd 4.

Row 1: With hot pink, form a slip knot(see illustration), pull yarn through marked st, ch 3 (this will be between toes), holding finger on next ch, ch 6, dc in ch that is being held (first of the ch-6), this will now be a triangle, beg crocodile st(see Special Stitches), using the ch as a post work crocodile st(see Special Stitches).

Row 2: Working back across row, do not turn, ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in center of crocodile st, 2 dc in end of crocodile st (this will be the previous ch-3 from row 1).

Row 3: Beg crocodile st, sk next 2 dc, crocodile st. (2 crocodile sts)

Row 4: Working back across the row, do not turn, ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in center of crocodile st, 2 dc in center of 2 dc from row 2, 2 dc in center of next crocodile st, 2 dc in end of crocodile st.

Row 5: Beg crocodile st, [sk next 2 dc, work crocodile st] across.

Strap

Row 6: Ch 1, sl st in center of last crocodile st, ch 14 [16, 18], using care not to twist the ch, sl st in center of the crocodile st on opposite side, turn.
