Oven Temperature Guide
Making friends with your oven really helps when cooking. Basically the Celsius temperature is about half the Fahrenheit temperature.
A lot of ovens these days offer the option to bake or fan bake (amongst others), as a rule, having the fan assisted option on will greatly increase the temperature in your oven and will shorten cooking times.
Our recipes have been compiled assuming a static conventional oven (non fan-forced) unless otherwise stated. If however your oven is fan-forced as a general rule of thumb, conventional cooking temperatures are reduced by 20C (this may vary between models). So if the recipe reads bake for 1 hour at 200C that will be 1 hour at 180C fan-forced.

Introduction
WE ALL LOVE CELEBRATIONS
As we all know, entertaining can also be an overwhelming amount of work. Clever entertaining to me is creating the illusion that I have been slaving away diligently in the kitchen, meticulously planning the menu, setting the table, choosing a theme, colour, flowers, and prepping as much as I can so that when the time arrives, I too can actually enjoy myself.
In this updated edition, 4 Ingredients Celebrations is all about making cooking and entertaining at home fast and fabulous. I truly believe, that whatever the occasion, as long as you have fresh, flavourful ingredients, four are really all you need to whip up something delicious and impressive.
In this book, you will find recipes perfect for any occasion, my personal favourite annual celebration is Christmas but only because it ends a very busy time in my life with an occasion that brings my large, crazy, beautiful family together. But the recipes within are perfect for many occasions; holiday brunches, romantic dinners and formal family get-togethers.
My husband requests the Wild Mushroom Beef Wellington every year for his February birthday. My Dads July birthday wouldnt be the same without his beloved Chicken & Port Pat. My sister-in-law, Nelly, asks for Heavenly Haloumi Skewers every time she visits (which is a lot; Love you Nells!); making the White Chocolate and Lime Fudge for our beloved Grandma has become an annual Mothers Day ritual and Sunday dinner is so much better with Roast Pork and Crispy Crackling, and the Caramel Ice-cream will have them licking the bowl any day!
