THE MEANING OF LIFE

Were born kicking and screaming and then latch on for a feed. If were lucky, were loved, and depend on our parents for everything. As we kick on, we learn good and bad from family and friends and try to find our spot on the planet. As a young bloke discovers girls, he realises that his weapon is not just good for dangling soap on a rope or hanging a towel (gifted blokes only). Eventually, most fellas tie the knot or shack up with their princess, have kids and put on weight. After a standard life, we pull the pin and face the Big Fella. Then when were done, the kids can blue over whats left.

Thats a pretty average summary of life, but it doesnt have to be like that. Our lives can be so much better. Life is a gift and we should grab it with both hands and enjoy the shit out of it. Bear with me, and well go into a bit more detail.

Hatch: The Wonder Years

Having a youngster is a pretty big deal. For previous generations, having a truckload of kids was the norm. Huge families were the order of the day, its just the way it was. Im from a big family and I enjoyed my time as a youngster. As one of eight kids, you learnt to be a little less selfish, that you cant always have what you want and to be a little more patient. Mostly, you learnt to be on time for tucker.
