ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Eric Martin is a free-lance writer and a full-time MBA student at the University of Georgia. His major concentrations and research at the university are focused on strategic management of human resources and recent corporate staffing issues. Eric plans to work in human resources consulting upon graduation in June of 1993 and to continue writing books on current work-force trends.
Prior to enrolling in graduate school, Eric worked directly under a well-known management consultant and college professor in Atlanta whose corporate training program added to the development of the concepts in this book. Eric's work experience also includes two years of accounting after earning his undergraduate degree from the Emory University School of Business Administration in 1990.
Eric was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City and now resides with his family in Roswell, Georgia.
Karyn E. Langhorne is an attorney and graduate of the Harvard Law School. After practicing labor law with an Atlanta law firm for two years, Ms. Langhorne initiated a work-at-home legal research business, preparing legal memorandum on a free-lance basis for a number of corporate clients. During that period, she also began her career as a free-lance writer, teaming up with coauthor Eric R. Martin to write this book. Her legal publications include Missouri Debt Collections (1992 supplement ), published by the Harrison Book Company, and a 1992 update of volume 3 of the
