About the Author
Pete Carr is a commercial and editorial photographer with a passion for documenting street life, architecture, and incredible scenery. He publishes his photographs on his award-winning daily photo blog (www. littletimemachine.com) and some of the highlights are featured in this book. His work can also be seen in his 2008 book about Liverpool, Port of Culture. He is one of the most prominent photographers in the Merseyside area today, described as the 21st century Chambr Hardman in a review of his first solo exhibition.
Petes work has been exhibited widely at venues including the Tate, Open Eye Gallery, St. Georges Hall, the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool, the National Media Museum in Bradford, and the Museum of Liverpool. His commercial work is extremely sought after, with one of his iconic shots of the Liverpool waterfront used as the key image in a major campaign by the Mersey Partnership promoting the city across the United Kingdom in 2010. His photographs have also been featured in the Guardian, The Times, the Liverpool Daily Post, and the Liverpool Echo. You can visit his website at: www.petecarr.net.
Robert Correll is the author of a number of books about digital photography, including camera-specific titles, digital cameras and technologies, general and specific digital photography techniques, and photo editing.
His latest titles include: Canon EOS Rebel T3/1110D For Dummies and Canon EOS 60D For Dummies (both written with Julie Adair King), Digital SLR Photography All-in-One For Dummies, High Dynamic Range Digital Photography For Dummies, HDR Photography Photo Workshop (written with Pete Carr), and Photo Retouching and Restoration Using Corel PaintShop Pro, Third Edition. When not writing, Robert enjoys family life, photography, playing guitar, and recording music. Robert is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and resides in Indiana.

Introduction
HDR photography has become incredibly popular over the past few years. Forums and photo-sharing sites like Flickr have a number of groups and followers who constantly post HDR photos.
