Ronnie Fein has been a freelance food and lifestyle writer since 1980. She currently writes regular features for the food and community sections of daily newspapers, including the Advocate and Greenwich Time, which are part of MediaNews-Hearst newspapers; many of these articles appear in other publications throughout the United States and in international editions, as well as online. Ronnie Fein has written articles for Newsday, Cooks Illustrated, Consumers Digest, Connecticut magazine, and many other publications; is the author of two previous cookbooks; and was a contributing editor to The New Cooks Catalogue. She also operates the Ronnie Fein School of Creative Cooking in Stamford, Connecticut, where she lives with her husband. She has two married daughters and three grandchildren.
