Its important to have goals in life, because it gives you something to work towards. The older I get the more I realise in having those goals and defining them, its imperative to constantly re-evaluate them so as to avoid complacency.
Make them as BIG as you can and throw all your energies into making them a reality. Theres nothing wrong with being ambitious.

Get O ut of the B locks
So now that you have a great name and youre ready to overcome your fears, its time to look at that product or service!
Like the Worlds Fastest Man, Usain Bolt, having a winning idea requires you to do three things successfully:
- Avoiding false starts;
- Getting out of the starting blocks with the best reaction time ;
- And pushing at top speed to get across the finish line.
This in itself is quite a feat and even for legends like Bolt it doesnt always go according to plan. He once false started in a 100 metres race in the World Championships in Daegu 2011, South Korea. Despite that setback, he still went on to defend his titles in the 200 metres and 4 x 100 metres relays, ending with a world leading time and a new world record respectively. Not too shabby at all.

Bringing your idea from concept to fruition is going to take not only speed, but exceptional discipline , focus, and determination. It s going to also require a lot of repetition. Dont forget about speed!
When you combine both speed and repetition, it allows you to experiment with as many ways to deliver on your product or service as possible. By doing more and failing faster, youre allowing yourself to learn new lessons and simultaneously increas ing your knowledge and experience in the development of your idea. I found this out firsthand with each successive graphic t-shirt line I created and released.
So just to recap, getting your winning idea out there to your target market is going to require you putting in hard work . And remember, you have the makings of a champion, so dont be afraid to test out your idea. If you fail along the way, its okay. Itll be worth it in the end when youre reaping the rewards of success.
