Alex Bchner is the co-founder of the Premium Moodle Partner and Platinum Totara Partner Synergy Learning. He has been administering and configuring learning management systems of all shapes and sizes since their advent on the educational landscape.

Alex holds a Ph.D. in computer science and an MSc in software engineering. He has authored over 50 international publications, including four books, and is a frequent speaker on Moodle, Totara, and related open source technologies. His first three books on Moodle administration by Packt Publishing have become the de facto standard on the topic.

Gavin Henrick is a learning technology consultant based in Dublin who has years of experience assisting organizations with their teaching and learning strategies. Gavin is the CEO and co-founder of Brickfield Education Labs, which provides an accessibility platform for Moodle using institutions to effectively manage the accessibility and usability of their course materials.

Gavin started his own consulting firm in 2011, Learning Technology Services, working with colleges, universities, corporates, and semi-states on Moodle deployments, training, and customizations. Gavin is an active member of the Moodle community, and he has worked for more than 14 years with Moodle Partners and Moodle HQ, in addition to running the UK and Ireland MoodleMoot.

Having co-authored Moodle 2.0 for Business Beginner's Guide, Moodle Administration Essentials, and Moodle Add-Ons, Gavin has also published a number of whitepapers on Moodle and some educational guides, including the Moodle 2 Toolguide and the Moodle Universal Design for Learning Guide.
