Acknowledgments are often so long-winded and boring that I chose to eliminate the acknowledgments from the 1st edition of this book. But in doing so, I short-changed a lot of people, including you, the reader. You see, while signing books for clients, friends, and acquaintances, I found myself compelled to write a short thank-you note. I dont think this was accidental.
So I would like to thank you, the reader, and all past, present, and future clients. The reason we exist as a company is because of people like you. You are a deep source of inspiration and motivation. Indirectly you had helped author this book- Thank you.
Other contributing authors I short-changed with the 1st edition include my immediate and extended family, especially to my wife Kristine with our five children. To all of you, Thank you. Without solid supporting relationships, motivation, and meaning would be tough to find.
Now would be a good time for a shout-out to past, present, and future team members at Arrow Timber Framing. You all contribute in some way, shape, or form. It is noticed and appreciated.
Another past, present, and future triad that deserves a massive thanks are the professional partners who help us in so many different ways. Many builders, architects, engineers, suppliers, and designers have all been noteworthy authors. Thank you!
Lastly, I want to call attention to those who worked hands-on to make this book an effective way to help people see, plan and acquire that just right post and beam influence they want with their building projects.

It is easy to say this book would have been an abysmal read if it had been produced by my stony lonesome! Like they say, No man is an island. Thank you for all the influence, kindness, and support shown to me. Rest assured, you have motivated and influenced this book to a greater or lesser degree- Thank you.
