Acknowledgments
I would first and foremost like to acknowledge my support team in the nonphysical for guiding me into making this book a reality, and for their constant presence, guidance, and communication with me throughout its development. My sincere gratitude to my editors, Barbara Moore and Marjorie Otto, and to everyone at Llewellyn who connected with my vision and nurtured it into physical form.
I cannot overstate the gratitude I feel to live in a time and a society in which I can express the words contained herein without negative repercussion. Looking back in history, it is no small thing to be able to write and express these ideas freely, and although it is an essential freedom, it is also an honor I do not take lightly. In the writing of this book, I have remained keenly aware of those who came before methe seekers, the mystics, the dreamers, the visionariesand their contributions to our understanding, whether those were published, written in secret and given over to time, or simply wondered at in flickering moments then absorbed into the collective consciousness.
I am profoundly grateful to the readers of this book. It is my sincere desire that it guides you on your path to understanding, and that your quest for knowledge is lifelong. I hope you always strive to see beyond the veil.

Introduction
The moon is engaged in a perpetual dance with the earth. The powerful lunar energy affects our thinking and behavior, and the cycles and rhythms in which we live our lives. It affects the mammals and birds and the fish of the sea. The moon is an undeniable force, the energy of the Goddess writ large across the sky. It is a source of intrigue uniting untold spans of time and countless generations.
Is it any wonder we are so enthralled by the moon, that we find it so enchanting, so impossible to resist its pull? More than half of our physical composition is water. The moons gravity affects us as it affects the tides, and perhaps even more so. On a full moon night, more babies are born and more crimes of passion committed. The tides can only advance and recede, but we can create or destroy, curse or cure.
Its no surprise we name the full moons in language as mesmeri c and various as the shifting phases of the moon itself. Because much of this lunar nomenclature derives from Native American tribes, who created a system to mark the characteristics of certain time periods, there are nearly as many variations in full moon names as there were people to name them. Many tribes used the moon as a system for tracking times and seasons, and different groups sometimes used the same name for moons in separate months. For those reasons, you will sometimes find crossover and duplication in the names among different sources. Other moon names hail from old lore and early North American settlers. With so many traditions contributing to the naming, this book strives to include the most commonly used full moon names.
It is from a place of fascination, both with the ancient lore and with the moon itself, that I have written this book. One of my earliest memories is reaching toward the moon, my arms stretching upward as high as they would go. I want to kiss the moon! was my fervent plea, and then, I truly believed it was possible, if my mother would just hold me up a little bit higher. Now, I know that humankinds ages-old love for the moon has created a collective love and admiration around that planetary body, which it reflects back to us. We dont have to physically touch the moon; we are already connected to its energy.
As a lifelong seeker and natural witch, I have always connected with the earth and with the moon, which is a force of nature, of the cosmos, a body created and held by universal energies. Some of the spells in this book are from my own personal repertoire and I have crafted all of them in concert with my higher guidance. Much of this book is channeled. It is designed to bring healing to all who read it, to assist you on the paths of awareness and manifestation, and to help bridge a stronger connection with your inner being or higher self, between you and the greater aspect of you, and with your own intuition.
