Introduction
If I had my way with dessert, we would eat vanilla ice-cream every night! These 30 desserts have given me fresh scope, and much to my familys delight variety! I love a good dessert when I dont have to bake it, but the following recipes are easy and totally worth the effort!
Easy Chocolate Truffle Dessert
Prep Time: 6 Hours And 25 Minutes 6 Servings Dont freak out the 6-hour bit is in the refrigerator this is delicious! Look at it! Yum I love chocolate!!! Ingredients
- 1 tub of thick cream
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 3 cups of ready-made custard
- 3 cups of dark chocolate, broken up
- Crme fraiche to serve with
Method Melt chocolate till creamy and smooth. Let it cool, then fold in cream and custard till creamy and smooth.
Grab 6 dessert moulds and line with plastic wrap. Pour in your chocolate mixture evenly. Into the fridge for 6 hours. Pop onto a plate when ready to serve. Add some crme fraiche and dust with cocoa powder. Simply delicious!!!!
Tempting Truffles
Prep Time: 20 Minutes Makes 35 This dessert is quite healthy! Tastes delicious and is easy to make! I would double the batch if I were you! Ingredients
- 1 tin of condensed milk
- cup of walnuts, chopped
- 1/3 cup of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of desiccated coconut
- 1 packet of plain biscuits
Method Grab a plastic bag and pop your biscuits in.
Bash them with a rolling pin to make crumbs fun! Pop them in a bowl. Add your walnuts, cocoa, and of your coconut. Mix together, then make a hole in the middle. Pour in your milk. Mix until well combined. Pop it in the fridge for half an hour.
Take your mixture and roll into balls. Pop the rest of your coconut onto a plate and roll balls in it enjoy!
Creamy Custard and Jelly Desserts
Prep Time: About 5 Hours 6 Servings Again, it is just fridge time! These are great desserts to make the night before! Custard and jelly is stuff kids dreams are made of! Ingredients
- 1 punnet of fresh strawberries
- 9 sponge finger biscuits, chopped
- 1 packet of jelly crystals (we love strawberry)
- 1 can of fruit salad
- 1 carton of custard
Method Make up your jelly according to the instructions. Pop it evenly into 6 serving glasses, then into the fridge for 4 hours until set. Place your biscuit crumbs over the jelly. Pour custard over the top. Strawberries go on top of custard.
YUM!
Sesame Creamy Banana Dessert
Prep Time: 10 Minutes 6 Servings I love any recipe with 4 ingredients but one that tastes as good as this is really up there among the favourites! So very yummy! Ingredients
- 4 packets of sesame snaps, chopped
- 4 bananas, chopped
- 6 fresh dates, sliced
- 1 big tub of vanilla yogurt
Method Grab out 6 serving glasses. Portion your bananas out into your glasses. Pop your sesame snaps on top. Add yogurt and dates! Eat it up! YUM!
Easy Peasy Chocolate Fondue
Prep Time: 10 Minutes 8 Servings So very easy and delicious and fun! Interactive eating is my favourite. Gather round with your family and friends and make fun! Ingredients
- 1 block of milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 block of white chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup of cream
- Any favourite fruit, marshmallows and chocolate wafer sticks to dip
Method Grab a saucepan and pop it over a low flame. Place your milk and white chocolate in and melt, stirring constantly.
Add the cream and stir until warm. Pop it in a serving bowl. Grab skewers and fruit and wafers and marshmallows and DIG IN!
Peanut Butter Fudge
Prep Time 15 Minutes Makes 18 Oh god this is so dangerous to have in the home! You cannot stop at one piece, so if you are on a diet do not make this recipe! I swear you will not be able to stop soooooooo good! Ingredients
- 1 packet of Cadbury Dark Chocolate Melts
- 1 packet of Cadbury White Chocolate Melts
- 2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
Method Grab a saucepan. Pop your peanut butter with your dark melts. Melt over a low flame. Grab another saucepan.
Pop the other of your peanut butter with your white melts. Melt over a low flame. Grab a loaf tin and line with baking paper. Pour both saucepans of chocolate peanut mix in at the same time. Get creative with a skewer and do swirls. Into the fridge until set.
Slice it up and see if you can stop eating it?
Nectarine Tarts
Prep Time: 25 Minutes 4 Servings Super easy and so very yummy! Any dessert that has fruit in it is usually very delicious. This quick nectarine delight will have you coming back for more! Ingredients
- 4 nectarines, halved
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry
- 1 tablespoons raw sugar
- cup of cream cheese
- A pinch of mixed spice
Method Preheat oven to 390F. Grab out your baking tray and line with baking paper. Grab your pastry and cut into quarters. Onto the baking tray. Grab a bowl.
Pop your spice, cream cheese, and sugar in. Beat together. Spread onto the puff pastry evenly. Pop your nectarines on top. Into the oven to bake till golden. Serve up hot so delicious!
Lemon and Pineapple Crush
Prep Time: 10 Minutes 4 Servings This is a speedy, delicious dessert that will tingle your taste buds and leave you feeling extremely content! A glass full of sunshine! Ingredients
