Bob Dukishhas spent nearly 40 years working and teaching in the field of technology. After serving in the military, working as a component engineer, and running a corporation, Bob now teaches computer and digital design courses at Kent State University. He has Associate Degrees in Avionic Systems, and Electronic Engineering Technology, a Bachelors Degree in Physics from Syracuse University, and Masters Degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Kent State University. Bob considers himself a lifelong learner.

Dr. Richard Hassleris an assistant professor at Kent State University, specializing in mechatronics. His professional achievements include industry certifications in production robotics, hydraulics, automation systems, and manufacturing skills. Dr. Hassler holds a Bachelors degree in Specialized Studies from Ohio University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Change from Fielding Graduate University. He conducts independent educational research and is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor with a commercial pilots certificate, an instrument rating for both single and multi-engine aircraft, and is remote pilot certified.

I wish to thank my students. Much of the material presented in this book was developed with student involvement during class discussions and projects. I also wish to thank the great group at BPB Publications for help in putting my rambling thoughts into a coherent format.
