Introduction
Bread machines give you the ability to makedelicious customized homemade bread. You can also make pizzacrusts, cinnamon rolls and other delicious baked items. Themachines are easy to clean up and they come with pre-programmedsettings for the majority of different types of bread.
You simply put the ingredients for the breadinto the bread machine as instructed by the bread machinemanufacturer, set the machine on the appropriate setting, and themachine takes care of most of the rest of the work.
Most of the work you will do involvespreparing the mixture and simply taking the dough out of themachine and letting it rise for a specific period of time beforebaking it.
For some of these recipes you may be asked totake the dough out and do a few extra preparatory steps, and youmay be asked to bake the bread in the oven instead of the breadmachine.
However, all of the recipes are selected sothat a person with minimal experience using a bread machine cansuccessfully create delicious bread.
For a few types of bread, the end resultturns out better when they are finished in the oven. However, themajority of these recipes are finished in the bread machine andnone of them take very long to prepare.
You dont need to be a skilled baker to makethese bread machine recipes, all you need to do is follow theinstructions precisely and make sure that you measure out youringredients accurately.
You should get acquainted with your breadmachine and read its instructions thoroughly prior to using it.Most bread machines are easy to use, but there are some specificdetails that you should know about before you start your firstrecipe to ensure that even your first recipe goes great.
Below are some tips for successfully usingyour bread machine to make these delicious bread recipes:
Learn your bread machine before youuse your bread machine be sure to get acquainted with its controlsand settings. It will usually have a hinged lid which can be openand shut and there will be a control panel. Inside the breadmachine is a pan or bucket that holds the dough, and the middle ofthe machine has a kneading bread blade to mix the bread.
Look at the capacity of your bread bucket 10 cup bread buckets can make 1 to 1.5 pound loaves, 12 cupbread buckets can make 1, 1.5 and 2 pound loaves, and 14 cup breadbuckets can make 1 to 2.5 pound loaves. Most machines will be largeenough for the recipes in this e-book.
Learn your control panel each breadmachine has a unique control panel which will normally have a startand stop button, timer, and other buttons. Learn the features ofyour control panel which will prove helpful when you want tocustomize how your bread is baked. Your machine may or may not havea crust setting which allows you to customize the crust, normallywith the light, medium or dark settings.
Bread flour and all-purpose flour areinterchangeable many of these recipes ask for bread flour,however if you dont have bread flour you can substitute inall-purpose flour. But, it is more ideal to use bread flour when itis called for, and the results are likely to be better with breadflour.

If you decide tostart the machine on a delay cycle, so that it starts later on, youshould add liquids first, then the flour, and other dryingredients, with the yeast going in last.
Basic Bread MachineBread
This is a go-to bread that you cant go wrong with and is easy tomake and can be used for sandwiches or anything else. This recipeis easy to repeat and the bread is surprisingly good in spite ofits simplicity.

1. Add sugar, water, and yeast into bread machine pan and letyeast dissolve for 10 minutes.
2. Add salt oil and flour to the yeast mixture.
3. Start the machine on the Basic cycle and let machine bakebread.
Tip: Substitute honey for the sugar if desired for a honeyflavor.
Italian Bread
This is delicious Italian bread that you can make with a breadmachine. It goes with many different recipes and is great forsandwiches. This recipe does not take too long and can be repeatedas needed.
Ingredients:
4 cups of all-purpose flour (unbleached)
1 teaspoons of olive oil
1 1/3 cups warm water (110 F)
2 tablespoons cornmeal
1 packet of bread machine yeast
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 egg
1 teaspoons of salt
Directions:
1. Put the ingredients into the bread machine pan asinstructed by the manufacturer. Start the machine on theBasic/White bread cycle.
2. Form the dough into two separate loaves.
3. Place the dough on a cutting board seam side down andsprinkle the dough with the cornmeal.
4. Cover the dough with a damp clean cloth and let the doughrise for about 35 to 40 minutes.
