Join the original authors of The Indigo Children ten years later for a profound and frank discussion these special childrenwhy they do what they do and what we can do to help them

The Indigo Children? Oh yeah . . . I know about them! Wasnt there a movie about that? Theyre those special kids who do psychic things and who have dark blue auras, right? If thats your take on the Indigos, then you really need to read this book. The Indigo Children are not super-psychic kids with dark blue auras. In fact, the Indigo moniker has nothing to do with auras or being psychic. Some of these teenagers are actually the ones who are strapping on bombs and bringing guns to school, so you can see that the subject here is far more profound than the sensational hype that often accompanies it.
This book is all about the children of our planet, what really might be happening with them, why they do what they do, and what we can do to help them and our educators survive all this. In addition, the Indigos are slowly beginning to join the work force (gasp)! After all this time, what do some in higher education say about these kids? What do industry leaders say? Humanity is evolving, so you should definitely be aware of what these individuals are saying.
Its time to stop the circus that has been created around this subject and get down to finding out how to help these children survive an earth they dont understand . . . or perhaps its just you they dont understand. . . . Join the leaders of education and industry who speak out in this book for a peek into the real issues surrounding the Indigos, and perhaps the future of humanity!

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,

committed citizens can change the world.

Indeed, its the only thing that ever has.

M A R A R E T M E A D

There is a revolution going on. As many parents, teachers, caregivers, and holistic practitioners are aware, todays children are quite different from the generations that preceded them.

If we had any doubts before we launched the original quarterly print edition of Children of the New Earth magazine in April 2003, the reaction we have since received from around the world has confirmed this belief. From the U.S. and Canada to Spain, Holland, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Turkey, China, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and South Africa, letters have been pouring in to our offices welcoming the fact that, finally, someone is acknowledging that todays children represent an evolution of the human species.

Without exception, the message weve been hearing for the past three years is one of overwhelming relief that at long last, information about the extraordinary changes that are now becoming evident in our children is finally being aired before the general public.

And its about time... for when 1 in fewer than 500 children is being diagnosed with autism or some form of autistic symptoms, 5 percent or more of American children are receiving special education for learning disabilities, and two million children (yes, two millionand thats just in the U.S. alone!) are being forced to take the drug Ritalin for so called behavioral-related problems, it is most certainly time for society to wake up and accept that something extraordinary is happening with our children.

On the one hand, as many caregivers are reporting, were seeing more and more evidence of children being born with what appears to be a highly developed range of extrasensory perceptions and capabilities.

On the other hand, as many health and medical professionals will attest, were witnessing alarming increases in the incidences of certain physical ailments and disorders, such as celiac disease, asthma, autism, digestive problems, food intolerances, and allergies.

Regardless of whether we view these changes as positive evidence of a quantum leap in the physical, mental, and spiritual evolution of our species, or the negative consequences of societys wanton pollution of our atmosphere, crops and other natural resources, the message is unequivocal: Its time for science to investigate the changing consciousness of todays children. Its time for medicine to start looking at the physical, chemical, and/ or biological anomalies that are increasingly being reported. And its time that we, as parents, grandparents, caretakers, and caregivers stop all unnecessary medication of children and start reevaluating the way we nurture, nourish, and educate them.

On our own, we may not feel we can do much to effect change. In reality, we have a lot more power than we think we do.

Theres a saying that if we want to see change, we must be change. This is one of the reasons that we at Children of the New Earth decided to expand our content and increase our frequency of publication by moving from a quarterly print publication to a monthly online magazine. We felt we could better serve the children and provide more access to this information for a wider audience.

Theres an awful lot that we, as individuals and as a collective, can do. Every time we exercise our right to follow our inner guidance and say
