TAIL
CO 30 stitches onto 1 needle to work straight.
K2tog, [k2tog, pass rightmost stitch over] repeat to end, binding off as you go until the last stitch is bound off.
TIP
To make your tail as curly as possible, cast on loosely, then use a tighter tension when binding off.
FINISHING
Thread loose end attached to pigs nose down through the middle of the stitches that you closed up, and shape to make a flat nose. Stuff feet, and attach to underside of pig using mattress stitch. Sew ears to head using mattress stitch, sewing the CO edge on in a curved shape. Tack tail to pigs behind, with the tail pointed upward.
With black yarn and tapestry needle, embroider two long vertical stitches onto flat part of nose. Weave in all loose ends.

BEEHIVE CURLS (Make 6)
Work same as pigs tail, but with same color yarn as Beehive.
FINISHING BEEHIVE
Tack 3 curls on each side of beehive.
If necessary, massage piece into curvy beehive shape. Weave in loose ends.
BEEHIVE STRAP
With white yarn, pick up and knit 3 stitches on underside of piece, close to the edge. Knit I-cord until approx 8" long, and BO. Repeat for second strap on opposite side of underside of piece.

CO 4 stitches onto 1 needle.
