introduction
I cant really imagine a day without doing something creative. Creativity
has always been a big part of my life, whether I was practising the violin,
trying out different crafts or learning to bake. However, only over the last
year or so that I have come to realise just how important creativity is to
me; not just because it is what I enjoy doing, but because when I am being
creative, I am at my happiest. It is an integral part of me, of who I am and
what I aspire to be. I really believe that being creative is being yourself.
I love this quote from graphic artist, Anthony Burrill, which sums up my
belief that doing something creative can have a really positive impact.
Burrill says "you need to be yourself to be happy".
The subject of mindfulness has become very popular over the last couple
of years and, increasingly, creativity is seen as going hand in hand
