Although HERE I STAND is based on true events, it is a recollection of my experiences that I have related to the best of my knowledge. Some of the people, names, identities, and characteristics have been changed or omitted to protect the privacy of the innocent and the not so innocent. Also, the language, tone and vocabulary that is depicted in the book comes from the voice and viewpoint of a child to a young adult, ages 9 to 20.

F OR R EADERS :

During your reading you will notice that some parts of the book are written in a screenwriting format, which is used for movies. This is done only when I was not actually present during an event or incident. In order to keep the book as honest as possible, I am using this style to make it clear that I am envisioning what may have occurred.

A Warriors Heart will be the follow up book to HERE I STAND, which will be based on my life from 20 to present day.
