This book is dedicated to John Miller, who made both my career in business intelligence and the assembly of this writing team possible. John has been a business associate for most of my professional life, always remaining one of my biggest fans. More importantly, John has been an advisor, a mentor, and a friend.

I would like to dedicate this book, first of all, to the Creator. In addition, there is not a more patient bunch of humans on the planet than my wife, Pam, and our two boys, Nathaniel and Zachary. I am inexpressibly grateful for their supportive dedication to me and to bearing with me through the process of getting this book completed. Finally, I am indebted to the many mentors I have had over the course of my career, including Brian Larson, and the others with whom I have co-written this book.
    Mark
This book is dedicated to my family. To my wonderful wife, Molly, and kids, Lily and Wyatt, for their love, understanding, and support. To my parents, Dennis and Nancy, for their guidance, support, and love over the years. I am truly blessed to have such a caring and supportive family.
    Dan
This book is dedicated to my supportive familymy wonderful wife, Krissy, and my awesome sons, Jack and Ryan. There were many weekends this past year that I spent writing instead of spending time with my family. Krissy and the boys never once complained about my commitment, and I am grateful for their sacrifice.
