Acknowledgments
There are many individuals who have contributed to my success in making my professional dreams become a reality.
First, I want to acknowledge my parents, Frances Mary and Arnold Lawrence, who opened my door of opportunity in education. I also thank all of my family for their continuous support, with a special thank you to my husband, Larry Valliere, for his minute-to-minute and day-to-day-support and encouragement to accomplish my goals.
Dr. Linda Anne Silvestri
While pursuing my professional goals, many people have been and continue to be supportive and encouraging. I want to thank my family, for their continued support on a daily basis, with a very special thank you to my parents, Mary and Larry, without whom I would not be where I am today. I also thank my husband, Brent Elmore, for his continued encouragement as I work every day to achieve my goals.
Angela Elizabeth Silvestri, MSN, RN
Collectively, we thank Dianne Elodia Fiorentino, our research assistant, for her continuous support, and Nicholas Silvestri, for his assistance in organizing and reviewing content. Additionally, we thank James Guilbault, Pharmacology Doctorate Candidate for researching medication information.
We also sincerely acknowledge and thank two very important individuals from Elsevier Health Sciences. We thank Kristin Geen, Executive Content Strategist, for her assistance, support, and expert professional guidance, and Laura Goodrich, Associate Content Developmental Specialist, for her continuous enthusiasm, assistance, and outstanding organizational skills. And, we thank Jeff Patterson, Publishing Services Manager; Jeanne Genz, Project Manager; and Amy Buxton, Designer, for their expert and creative ideas and tremendous support.
