Preparation method
Blend the chopped onion to make a slack paste and set it aside.
Crush the garlic cloves or blend to a thick paste and add one tablespoon of sugar
On medium heat, put the vegetable oil in a pan, when hot add the cumin seeds, fennel seeds, chili flakes, and cinnamon
Swirl the mixture for a minute until you feel the aroma
Add the onion paste to the mix in the pan and let them cook for about eight minutes
Add both garlic and ginger in the pan, stir as it prepares for about two minutes
Stir in turmeric, garam masala, caster sugar and cook for 15 minutes
