More importantly, spicing them up with natural herbs enhances their taste.

The beauty of the chicken curry depends on how you will combine the spices and the rest of the ingredients. You can serve most of the chicken curry with rice dishes and noodles, though different countries have their side dishes for the same. Preparation time: 45 minutes Number of servings

Ingredients

  • Eight skinned and boneless chicken thighs cut into smaller chunks
  • One cup of hot chicken stock
  • One large onion
  • Six chopped garlic cloves
  • One teaspoon of ginger
  • Four tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • One tablespoon of fennel seeds
  • Two tablespoons of cumin seeds
  • One tablespoon of turmeric powder
  • one tablespoon of garam masala
  • Two tablespoons of chopped coriander
  • About three-inch-long cinnamon stick
  • one tablespoon of chili flakes
  • Two medium-sized chopped tomatoes
  • One tablespoon of caster sugar

Preparation method

Blend the chopped onion to make a slack paste and set it aside.

Crush the garlic cloves or blend to a thick paste and add one tablespoon of sugar

On medium heat, put the vegetable oil in a pan, when hot add the cumin seeds, fennel seeds, chili flakes, and cinnamon

Swirl the mixture for a minute until you feel the aroma

Add the onion paste to the mix in the pan and let them cook for about eight minutes

Add both garlic and ginger in the pan, stir as it prepares for about two minutes

Stir in turmeric, garam masala, caster sugar and cook for 15 minutes

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they assume a dark color

Add the chicken chunks into the thickened tomato paste and cover

Allow it to cook for about five minutes and then pour in the hot chicken stock

Simmer for about 10 minutes until the chicken is tender

Sprinkle your chicken with chopped coriander

Serve alongside fluffy basmati rice or Indian flatbreads

  • Three tablespoons of cooking oil
  • Three medium-sized grated onions
  • One and half a tablespoon of ground roasted cumin
  • One whole skinned chicken cut into about 12 chunks
  • One inch of cinnamon stick
  • Five minced cloves of garlic
  • Four green cardamom pods
  • Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Four medium-sized pureed tomatoes
  • One tablespoon of chopped cilantro
  • One tablespoon of garam masala
  • One tablespoon of red pepper powder
  • One tablespoon of ginger paste
  • Salt to taste
  • One and a half tablespoon of coriander
  • One and half a cup of water

Preparation method

On medium heat, heat the cooking oil in a pan

Add the garlic cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and allow them to saut for four minutes

Add garlic and ginger paste and stir continuously for about three minutes

To the mixture, stir in the coriander, turmeric, red pepper powder, and cumin

Add the tomato puree and cook for about 10 minutes until the tomato color darkens

Add the chicken chunks and some salt and stir

Pour in the water, increase the heat of the cooker, cover and bring the chicken to boil, then simmer for 10 minutes for the chicken to cook well

Put the cooked curry into a large bowl and then sprinkle it with garam masala

Use cilantro to garnish and serve while hot

  • Four minced cloves of garlic
  • 7 oz of goldfish Chinese curry paste
  • About two inches piece of ginger minced
  • Two medium-sized spring onions
  • One tablespoon of light soy sauce
  • Half a teaspoon of sugar
  • One teaspoon of rice wine
  • Ground white pepper and salt (optional)
  • Half a teaspoon of sesame oil
  • One medium-sized carrot cut into wedges
  • Three medium potatoes peeled and cut into wedges
