Bridget Jones Cookbook - Most Innovative British Recipes: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "Bridget Jones Cookbook - Most Innovative British Recipes" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

This recipe book introduces you all to the world of Bridget Jones, which started from the first series to the third series; Bridget Jones Diary (2001), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), and finally Bridget Joness Baby (2016) respectively.
And for those who dont know who and what Bridget Jones was, Bridget Jones is a seemingly imperfect, funny, insecure, messy, easy-going, single woman who was always trying to make a better life for herself all through the series.
Known as a slightly overweight chronic drinker and a beige smoker, Bridget Jones was your typical modern-day over-30 years single woman who tends to become emotionally depressed (characterized by her solo drinking moments while listening to sad song titled All By Myself by Celine Dion) and desperate to have a major turn-around in her life; with the hope of snatching a Mr. Right in the world filled with handsome and manipulative Playboys the likes of Daniel Cleaver.
And this makes her love life one of the most recurrent and central themes of the film, a situation that has her falling heads over heels in love with womanizer Cleaver at first, meeting Mark Darcy, and her emotional involvement with Jack Qwant.
In the book, we outline recipes that helped Bridget Jones get her groove back her as a confident, determined, loveable, and woman who learned to stand her grounds and walk away from negative people (her biological mother inclusive) and things.

It is unarguably true that the Bridget Jones series was an adaptation of the renowned Classic Regency romantic novel titled Pride and Prejudice; where a single woman of marriageable age (Elizabeth Bennet) sought love and found it in the arms of an arrogant, status-drunk, and wealthy Mr. Darcy; despite their disastrous first meeting.

But regardless of the similarities shared with this literary masterpiece; which includes a naming of the lead male character as a Darcy, the gentle father and dominating mother in both film and novel, the meeting of the hero and heroine at a party, the heroines hatred at first sight for both heroes, and finally, portraying the character of Mr. Darcy as the Mr. Right in both film and movie; the Bridget Jones series is an awesome, entertaining, and educating film.

This British- American Romance Comedy series holds its own with its amazing characters who did a good job of interpreting their roles well, a well-developed and relatable stolen plot (as Helen Fielding referred to it herself, its funny dialogues and scenes, not to forget the educating themes of self-love, determination, self-confidence, and resistance.

What started as a newspaper column in the year 1995 and featured in The Independent newspaper, metamorphosed into a full-blown series, and became one of the most-loved and most-sought-after series ever.

Although the Bridgett Jones character went through a lot of ups and downs to get what she wanted; a man who would love her for the social and emotional misfit that she was, she never for once doubted herself and neither did she settle for less, she stood for what she believed in (marrying for true love) and became better at what she did, most especially in making delicious British meals that we cant help but share the recipes with you.
