ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Brendon Griffin has contributed to, and edited, various Rough Guides including WestAfrica, Central America, Spain, Portugal, Peru and New York, and has writtennumerous travel articles for the Rough Guide anthologies Make The Most of Your Time on Earth and MakeThe Most of Your Time in Britain. He has travelled widely inBolivia and Latin America in general and also writes on African, Latin andBrazilian music.
Shafik Meghji A travel writer, journalist, editor and photographer, Shafik Meghji isbased in South London but has travelled extensively throughout Bolivia sincehis first visit in 2004. He is also the co-author of the Rough Guide to India and has worked on Rough Guides to Chile,Central America on a Budget, Nepal, Egypt, Paris and the BalticStates.
James Read first travelled to Latin America in 1991. Expecting to be there for threemonths he stayed for three years, rebuilding Inca irrigation systems in thehigh Andes of Peru. Since then hes travelled throughout the region, writingsporadically. At home in England hes Latin American editor for the BBCWorld Service.
